About Friends Educational & Medical Trust
A Step Toward A Uplifting of Under - Privileged Communities
Friends Educational & Medical Trust is a charitable organization that is working towards the betterment of underprivileged communities, with the help of local and international donors, we provide funds to schools located in underprivileged areas with extremely limited resources. Loans and scholarships are available for deserving youth. Medical loans and support to hospitals are also provided.

Medical Support
FEMT provides medical facilities to our school staff and other underprivileged patients. We grant monthly donations to multiple departments in government-run hospitals to fulfill their need for additional staff and equipment. Furthermore, we contribute annual donations to institutions such as SIUT, LRBT, Edhi, and various other charitable organizations.
Qarz-e-Hasna
We empower talented students to pursue higher education beyond matriculation through interest-free loans (Qarz-e-Hasna). Over 400 deserving scholars have accessed this support to attend premier institutions like IBA, LUMS, SZABIST, and NED.Strengthened recovery procedures and administrative controls now ensure a sustainable cycle of funding for future cohorts. In 2018–2019, we disbursed over Rs. 14.8 million to 115 students, with program capacity expanding further this year.
Our Response to Covid 19
Our schools adapted seamlessly—online and in-person—to deliver uninterrupted education throughout the lockdown. While many organizations laid off staff, we fully sustained our schools through these trying times. Beyond education, we managed nationwide food ration drives and contributed Rs. 6.8 million to Indus Hospital with the help of generous donors.
