About Friends Education & Medical Trust
A Step Toward A Uplifting of Under - Privileged Communities
Friends Education & Medical Trust is a charitable organization that is working towards the betterment of underprivileged communities, with the help of local and international donors, we provide funds to schools located in underprivileged areas with extremely limited resources. Loans and scholarships are available for deserving youth. Medical loans and support to hospitals are also provided.

Qarz-e-Hasna
We provide loans ( qarz e hasna ) for higher studies beyond matric. over 400 deserving students have availed this loan and have availed this loan and have graduated from or currently studying at reputable colleges namely IBA , LUMS, SZABIST, NED etc.
Loan repayment had not been satisfactory in the beginning, but with better control and procedural adoption this recory has improved a lot.
During the year 2018 - 2019, we have paid over Rs.14,800,00/= to 115 students. This year the amount is expected to go higher.
Medical Support
FEMT provides medical facility to our school's staff member and also other needy patients.
We provide monthly doantion to various sections of government run hospitals to meet their need for additional staff and equioment.
We provide yearly donation to other institutes like SIUT, LRBT, Edhi and several other charitable institutions.
Our Response To Covid 19
Ourschools kept working in all ways possible , online or otherwise to provide uninterrupted education to the students. When other private institutions and workplaces were laying off their staff due to the lockdown, we kept suporting all our schoolsto keep afloat in these tr times.
During fd we have part nmber of projects for food ration.distribution in various parts of Pakistan. We also with the help of good friends contributed Rs. 6,800,000/= to Indus Hospital for assistance towards
